Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness And rivers in the desert. Isaiah 43:18-19 New King James Version (NKJV)
Hello Esplanade:
Winter’s cold has finally begun to fade into the warmth of Spring. The buds burst forth awakening from their slumber to become a beautiful flower. New life birthed from its hibernating rest. Like the flowers that bloom in Spring, we too, have undergone a rebirth. This month we premiere a new look. From our email address, website, Facebook Page and format, we too are doing a new thing.
The last year has been a time of learning and growth. As you know, the Newspaper Committee has been decommissioned by the board. The paper has historically been a means for the shareholders to receive updates about the issues that the board of directors handles on our behalf. The committee and the board, working together to bring you valuable information. But that is not the state of things in Esplanade Gardens, so this paper is operating on its own. A handful of shareholders volunteering their time to provide information to and for the benefit of all shareholders and, ultimately, for the benefit of our community – completely self-funded. The cost of printing 1,872 copies is extremely costly, however, we are still committed to presenting you with the news you need so we have moved to a digital format.
We know that there are a number of people in our complex who are not computer savvy or who would rather have a physical copy of the paper to read, however, at this time, that is not possible. We do hope to raise funds to print in the future but for now, we believe this is our best option.
As always, we welcome your comments, feedback and ideas. Please contact us at info@eggazettenews.com
Cooperatively yours,
LeClair Glover
